Minister Sue Ellery, MLC, Minister for Education and Training, addresses attendees involved in the delivery of services at the Jobs and Skills Centres. on Day One of the Inaugural Jobs and Skills Centre Forum held at the Mercure Hotel, Perth.
As part of the State Government's Plan for Jobs initiative, Jobs and Skills Centres were developed as a one stop shop for careers, training and employment advice and assistance. The centres also provide an online jobs board, to connect jobseekers with employment opportunities and to help employers attract and recruit employees.
Services are free, and accessible to all members of the community. Thirteen centres located on TAFE campuses throughout Perth and regional WA are now open, with additional outreach locations for regional areas. For more information on locations and services, visit the website here.
