COSMETIC TATOOING AND SKIN REJUVENATION TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEES - SELECTION UNDERWAY16/1/2019
![]() Nominations have closed and the selection process for the Cosmetic Tatooing and Skin Rejuvenation Technical Advisory Committees is underway. The Technical Advisory Committees (TACs), which will report to the Personal Services Industry Reference Committee, will soon commence the development of two new Qualifications. One relating to Cosmetic Tattooing is proposed to include relevant underpinning knowledge, e.g. anatomy and physiology, wound healing, microblading/feathering, and the related underpinning skills and knowledge required to safely administer these treatments (e.g. colour principles and treating adverse effects). The Skin Rejuvenation qualification will cover the provision of various skin treatments (e.g. skin needling and chemical peels) and include modalities not addressed within the current SHB Training Package such as sonophoresis, Light Emitting Diode (LED) treatments and IPL and laser for skin rejuvenation Comments are closed.
